Introduction
Our research interests is building controlled interfaces for polymer materials and electronic devices toward specific functions, including selective and efficient capture of biomolecules or cells in complex biological environment, selective absorption of vaporized chemicals in air, efficient electro-coupling at liquid-solid interface, tunable interfacial bonding or loading of functional materials in composites, etc.
Our strategies start from a function-directed molecular design, and involve multidisciplinary concepts and techniques from organic synthesis, polymer chemistry and physics, nano engineering, electronic engineering, biologic engineering, materials science and engineering, etc.
The current applications of our materials and devices are flexible bioelectronics, wearable chemical and biological sensors, wireless and no-power consumption sensors, blood electro-chips, electro-responsive polymer materials, and shear resistant and functional fiber reinforced composites.
